Be enough

3 Positives:
Nearly finished up canning a bushel of apricots – just the nectar to bottle and process today
Lovely time sitting on the deck last evening
A stir fried zucchini and summer squash dished up at dinner last night — a true taste of summer!

My Journey Notes:
Making a note on my electronic calendar for Feb of next year — make appointment to renew IDs. One place takes nearly 3 months to get an appointment currently and the other requires 3 weeks and neither can have expired before your appointment or you have to bring in the “bundle of paperwork” to prove who you are. It’s crazy! At least I do have all the paperwork gathered in a folder and it’s on my desk so it won’t get lost! And as of today, the state legislature hasn’t banned mail in voting which our county does — so we’ll see how that goes next year for mid-terms.

Bring your dreams to life

Don’t give up on a good dream!

3 Positives:
Service feels good
Pleasant conversations
Test cut of a new project was a success after altering the unfolding process.

My Journey Notes:
Old apps, new adventures! While I didn’t remember everything, grateful for a friend who helped me when I was struggling. Tried using the app again and SUCCESS! Will be opening the apps again today to add a few details to the structure. We’ll see if I can have success again today! My desire to complete some projects on my design list is back again.

kindness. beauty. truth.

3 Positives:
Quiet moments
Cooler temps for the day
Creative time was a success

My Journey Notes:
Tylenol seems to be my best friend at the moment. Fingers crossed for a better day today.
Still making lots of lists and checking things off. Yesterday’s list was completely crossed off. YIPPEE! Today’s list is a short one, but it may not get done as I have to be out for a while. We’ll see how things roll out.

share your light

3 Positives:
Shared time with a friend in a video chat
Played with an old app for a while – made a little progress on a project, but not enough to move forward.
Even a “disappointed in the outcome” design has some good still in it. A few tweaks and turned upside down, it’ll be a very pretty vase for some paper flowers. 🙂

My Journey Notes:
Sometimes the necessity of rereading the “manual” is worth it. Stuff that isn’t in long term memory fades pretty fast at times… a read refreshes things a bit — and may even “light” the next step for you without another review beyond what you’ve already looked at.

slow down…

3 Positives:
checked off some yard work yesterday
Peruvian tamales are pretty good
lists for Monday and Tuesday have been started

My Journey Notes:
Getting a little slower on getting things done — or time is just moving faster. Might need to make an appointment and get a referral — my hip issue isn’t getting any better and the OTC stuff isn’t giving me the relief I need at the moment. It’s difficult to go up and down the stairs, just plain walk for any distance or find a comfortable position for sitting or laying down. If things aren’t better by Tuesday, I guess I’ll make the call.
