3 Positives: All but two were at the family’s Father’s Day dinner last night Family picture taken looking forward to some studio time on Tuesday
Our Journey Notes: T’s bleb revision surgery is this morning. Hoping all goes well and things will be back on track for cataract removal and new glasses.
3 Positives: migraine meds worked, sort of 2 hour nap a little time in the studio
Our Journey Notes: T used his walking stick yesterday. He said it was a help
Needing a little more support on the short term stuff. Sometimes the notes/lists aren’t quite enough for some of those things. Thankfully, T and A are okay with sharing a reminder — no did you forget statements, just a quick driveby as a reminder. That seems to help when it’s stuff that needs more immediate attention. We do have a couple on today’s list, so hopefully, by this evening, all will be taken care of. I have to have T’s phone for a couple of them, so those will have to wait until after he gets home from work — and before he starts listening to his ebook for the evening.
3 Positives: Design for June’s ministering cards has been decided a much needed Sunday afternoon nap the Memorial Day Concert on PBS (a family tradition)
3 Positives: Family time Fun coloring page for the grands – a picture of all of them turned to a pencil sketch in Photoshop – even the teens enjoyed it. The youngest two remembering the birds from a couple of months ago: searching and finding it, asking for permission to see it.
3 Positives: self care church flowers, treats, calls, and texts. A very good day overall.
3 Positives: Grateful for being able to go to church today. T is feeling a little more confident in using his walking stick as the bad eye days seem to be more frequent than a good eye day. Hoping for time in the studio again today.
Side note:We made a short but fun family video last evening. However, when reviewing the footage before editing, we discovered that one of the grands was just out of camera view. We’ll have to try again next month. Now that we have a little experience with setting things up for this, it should work wonderfully. Let’s just hope that everyone is able to come. It was sounding a little iffy for a few. We still have a few months before it will be too cold to do an outside shoot, so, we will be trying again.
We were also able to get family group photos of everyone as well, to update the photo montage in the living room. I hope to print everything out this week and get them in the frame. I’m hoping to pull something off for Mother’s/Father’s day as well, but we’ll have to see how that works out. I may or may not be able to put it together, but it would be fun to do something 3D for our crew.
3 Positives: a little studio time re-read a conference talk; looking for the “gems” zoomed with T’s family for a little while – mission call announcement
