My Journey Notes:
Getting a little slower on getting things done — or time is just moving faster. Might need to make an appointment and get a referral — my hip issue isn’t getting any better and the OTC stuff isn’t giving me the relief I need at the moment. It’s difficult to go up and down the stairs, just plain walk for any distance or find a comfortable position for sitting or laying down. If things aren’t better by Tuesday, I guess I’ll make the call.

Remember the real reasons why we’re celebrating today….

My Journey Notes:
Right hip acting up – likely from standing too long while canning tomatoes day before yesterday. Hurts to stand, sit or lay down. I did find that putting a pillow under my right leg helped a bit, and the Icewave patches worked for about 5 minutes. No stairs today, but hopefully, things will start to right themselves a bit by this evening.

My Journey Notes:
Hoping for another fairly good day. I have a pretty good morning routine now and that helps to keep things on track for the day. And got some sleep last night after the fireworks had stopped. I think we’ve come up with a solution to help the dog as well. We’ll see how things go for the rest of the week. Lots of fireworks in nearby neighborhoods — and they’re not just the small ones.

My Journey Notes:
Focus has been lacking for a couple of days. I have a small project on my work table that still is unfinished after deciding on a final design during the last week. It really needs to be finished up by Wednesday afternoon. I’m hoping to have a productive day and get it close to finishing today as well as check off a couple of things lingering from one of last week’s lists. Still need to finish up the large project we started in the basement a couple of weeks ago. Doing it in small bites so it’s not too overwhelming. It is coming along as hoped, but maybe not as quickly since some days the small bites are really small.

New health program recommended by my dr officially began yesterday (insurance approved). I’ve been doing several of the initial steps since the beginning of the year – but they haven’t been enough to drop some of the weight that definitely needs to come off. Fingers crossed this is a plan I can stick with and be successful in.

Grateful for supports that help with my short term memory stuff. Again, lists are my friend. New routines for the long term that include specific steps help keep things moving in the right direction here.
