Inhale, exhale

Have faith in the process.

Lots of repeat storytelling the last few days – which for the most part has been fun to listen to even if it’s the 5th or 6th repeat in the last hour or so. He finds a way to work it into the conversation and change up a detail or two to grab your attention – there’s something he wants you to hear and hold onto. I hope we found the detail he was hoping we’d find.

Hoping today is a better day all around. PT this morning and another appointment this morning. Tuesday’s session was a good one, and hopefully, Dad will be mobile this morning without any dizziness.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Angels are everywhere. Whether it’s a call, a note or a passing smile, there seems to be the promise of something good in the works every day. The smile upon waking. A thank you after a meal or a hearty laugh when things are looking a little iffy or troublesome. We appreciate everyone for helping in any way they can or have or will in the future.

We’ve been blessed having gone down this road previously with Mom. And as always, each day is a new adventure. No two days are exactly alike. From sunup to sundown, each day has its own life. The ups and downs aren’t always the same or motivated by the same experiences in our new daily routine. We’re grateful to have Dad with us and learn more about this thing called life and say “thank you” for the opportunity to be his angels at this time.
