not a paper project –
just a little upcycling from some found, thrifted and new items. This little scarecrow was a perfect addition for this year’s Fall decor.
The “frame” is made of 3 pieces of wood from a broken drying rack. The clothes were thrifted from a local not for profit thrift store in our area. And the bale of hay, flowers and hat were all purchased at 50% off at a local craft store. Gotta love sales!
I think he/she turned out kind of cute!
I think we’ll be adding some smaller flowers and pumpkins in the next week or so to finish it off!
Hoping you’ve found some time in your creative space this weekend and are enjoying a fabulous Labor Day! The weather is gorgeous here and while some of our plans have been changed due to illness in the fam, we’re happy to have some down time today.

3 Positives:
made time to do a little playing which then turned into a LOT of time in the studio
added a few more sketches for some tiered tray decor
nearly finished the laundry yesterday….
My Journey Notes:
I managed to get a bit off track yesterday… several hours off track. But was able to figure out how to get a few things caught up and managed by the end of the evening – no guilt. The time spent in the studio was well worth it in the long run. Need to go to HL and the grocery store this morning to finish up one project.
Just a heads up: I started importing my other blog (https://izbzee.typepad.com) on over a day or so ago — since that platform is closing next month. I think quite a few of the photos will be lost, but hopefully, I’ll be able to recover most of them with some backups I have on the cloud. I will be incorporating my creative posts alongside the Greatitudes posts. I do hope it will work. Right now, crafting is a lifeline and helps keep me grounded.
