CAREGIVER NOTE:
3 years ago today, Mom passed away. Alzheimer’s no longer had a hold on her. For that I’m grateful. We had many hard times and many difficult days — but there were lots of fun and joy filled times as well. I miss you Mom. I wish we’d had a little more time together, but I do treasure the time we did have and that our relationship as daughter and mother drew us all the closer, especially during our 5 1/2 years of caring for you full time. It was definitely our pleasure to do so. LOVE YOU and miss you dearly. Till we meet again.

CAREGIVER NOTE:
The time to watch the corn grow has arrived. We all laughed when we asked if it would grow taller than the fence again since it’s only about 4 inches high at the moment and how long it would take. He’s ready for fresh corn on the cob from the garden now! I will need to set up another sitting area by the peach tree again for him. He really enjoyed sitting there last year in the shade during the afternoon – watching clouds in the sky, birds flying to the feeders, and noticing how much the corn had grown overnight and the moment it was taller than the fence and the tassels turned brown he was very happy!
