Celebrate the miracles!  

CAREGIVER NOTE:

Each day offers many miracles… celebrate a few every day. Some days you have to look a little harder, but seek, recognize, and celebrate as many as you find each day. Don’t sit in the gloom of what hasn’t gone well. That gloom can become overwhelming for you, the caregiver, and spill over to whom you’re caring for. Celebrate a miracle or two every day this week.

Count your blessings today… and experience joy in your heart as you ponder the path you’re on. 

CAREGIVER NOTE:

Beautiful weather — more time outside – nearly time to plant a garden. He’s so excited about this. Seedlings have been started and he loves to check their growth nearly every day. Sure hoping this project goes well and he enjoys working in the garden this year.

Leave a wide trail in both word and deed.

CAREGIVER NOTE:
Encourage movement. We’ve noticed that on the days he doesn’t want to do more than sit in his chair and play with the up and down buttons, his balance is a little off and his short term memory is worse. Thankfully, the weather is improving and we’ve had a couple of very nice days where he’s been willing to spend some time outside and walk around the neighborhood. He does enjoy that and there have been days he’s set a fairly fast pace to keep up with.
