Month: August 2026

8.5.26

3 Positives:
quiet reflective time
boxes checked off on the to – do list
a sweet note from a friend via snail mail

Our Journey Notes:
T has an eye appointment today. Hoping the pressures are down as he hasn’t been to the office in nearly 3 weeks now. Maybe today will be the day he gets the scrip for his new lenses.

“Forgetfulness” is happening more frequently, drats. Thankfully, T and A are being helpful with a few reminders — but not nagging. Yesterday was a good day overall… including checking off most of the list for the day. Really hoping for some answers next week and hoping the report findings for the upcoming MRI won’t be dragged out over the following weekend.

you can do it.

3 Positives:
more work on the downstairs pantry
a little reading time
learning to take the “cues” in a more timely manner

Our Journey Notes:
Did a little more reading regarding the notes from the last MRI. Gliosis. I need to remember that word. Tatting has been fun to pick up again. I think the technique has been a bit of a reawakening in a sense for a part of the brain. I’m still having a few glitches in reading the patterns, but think I’ve found a way of rewriting them that works for me. Trying a new pattern later today and have high hopes that it will work.
