Pinterest inspiration as well. I did change it up a bit and used several different techniques and media. The tag is from the SCAL library (Tags and Banners folder)
The base, flowers and sentiment piece are sketch pad paper. Leaves, flower centers and ladybug are cut using Encore and Bazzill cardstock
I used some pan pastels and watercolor ink refill for the tag base after stamping with a honeycomb background stamp. The flowers also have pan pastel and some ink splatter.
The sentiment was generated in SCAL and then foiled using the Foil Quill. I added some cheesecloth on top of the tag (you can’t see it) for a base to build on.
I really like how this one turned out. Texture, color and depth.

Anenome files from Dreaming Tree
Ladybug file from Creative Fabrica (I did alter the file – adding a stitched line and changed the hearts into circles.
Leaves from a FSJ’s die set, I did use some tweezers to add some dimension and then inked the leaves.
Day: August 20, 2026
an oldie – but a goodie
3 Positives:
proposal for the roof replacement signed
finished up the last piece for an ongoing challenge on FB
got out the tatting again – the start was a little rough, but I see some progress.
Our Journey Notes:
T’s appointment was a banner one! Both eyes have desired IOP! He can go off the eye drops after tomorrow. He was just a little excited when walking out of the exam area of the office. He also said he could see shapes again in the left eye. Not color, but shapes and that made his day and was an answer to prayers.
Still no call about MRI — so I sent a message through the app. Maybe a call today? We’ll have to see.
