time for a creative update…

Rootbeer floats for a July hello card. These were lots of fun and using some heat and puff stuff really helped with the details on the float. Mod-Podge applied to the glass, straw and spoon.

Our Journey Notes:
T is struggling. News yesterday wasn’t as hoped. Swelling hasn’t gone down as much as hoped and IOP pressure is once again too high in the left eye. Dr added another drop to help with the irritation and inflamation with hopes that some additional healing will help. Another appointment on the calendar for early Aug. He was really hoping for some progress. Let’s hope this new plan of drops and healing will work.

Our Journey Notes:
T has another post-op appointment this morning. Hoping that goes well and we can start working on the new lens for the good eye and get some of his reading ability back. He’s been pretty frustrated the last couple of weeks and the bad eye days are outnumbering the good ones again. Fingers, toes crossed and lots of prayers for him and the dr this morning.

PT update: According to the PT, things are going as expected. He changed up a couple of the home exercises and only did some manual neck traction during our session on Monday -trying to save me some discomfort/pain from the previous week’s session. Tingling down my legs is still there — I just hope we’ll see it diminish or disappear before they end the treatments. Insurance approved 12 visits — so hopefully, the spine specialist will let it continue after I see him in a couple of weeks. Again, it’s a wait and see.
