Open your eyes to the opportunities that are yours today.

Had a few low points yesterday. Sure missing him. I really did expect to see him sitting in the chair yesterday when we walked through the door with lots of surprises for decorating the tree. He liked to watch the transformation and this year was to be a good one. I’m sorry he’s missing it in person, but I’d like to think he’s smiling as he watched things unfold yesterday. We didn’t finish yesterday, but we might be able to get it done today with a few additions that he would definitely approve of.

Watch the sun rise or set at least one day this week and lift your spirits.

It was a very cold and windy day yesterday – typical for Idaho November/December funerals. We appreciated the local VA group and AFB Honor Guard for providing the military honors yesterday. It was the icing on the cake at the funeral. Most of the family was in attendance – and it was good to see everyone. I’m looking forward to seeing the photos of the family in a few days.
