One kindness at a time.

My Journey Notes:
Trying to be better at self-care. Made two calls yesterday and have an appointment today with my eye specialist (- no waiting 6 weeks, he had an opening which is almost unheard of). Referral from Endo to the ENT surgeon has been done, just waiting for the scheduler to call me now. I’ll need to call the ENT if I don’t hear from his office in a week’s time. Big note in my planner to follow through if I haven’t heard back by next Tuesday.

welcome to 2025

It’s New Year’s Day!

Traditions held true again last evening. We shifted from virgin pina coladas to virgin strawberry daiquiris. So yummy when we added some frozen strawberries into the mix. Movies to close out the day and listen to the fireworks boom and light the sky until shortly after midnight.

Freshly baked muffins to start the morning with a cup of hot chocolate or apple cider. Rose Parade and possibly a football game while munching on the edibles that will fill the kitchen island throughout the day.

positively

the RSV bug has struck again, only a couple of weeks earlier than last year. Not a great time to get this stuff. It’s pretty miserable. Finally, after nearly a week, I’m feeling like I might be able to get something done. Let’s hope things get better and I’m back on my feet for this weekend’s family gathering with my sibs and their families. Fingers crossed we’re all healthy to go.

The magic continues….
