We made it through 8+ hours of no power or internet much better than anticipated. Recharging all extra battery packs this morning!
The lantern batteries still worked! Plenty of tea lights, fairy lights and candles at the ready. 🙂 All but one flashlight worked.
The wildfire stayed east and north of us.

spent a little time in the studio working on my current project
read a little longer than my norm

My Journey Notes:
Adjustment in med dosage starts today after a call with the PCP re the results of Monday’s bloodwork. Back up a notch but for 5 days a week. We’ll see how that goes — another blood draw in about 30 days. Things are still a bit wonky overall and not settling where they need to be without lots of crazy side effects. Still not losing much in the weight department, but I guess a few ounces is better than none at all.
List started for the day. It’s getting longer and longer and I’m really hoping to get most of it crossed off before this evening. Routine for the morning has begun.

Shared time with a friend in a video chat
Played with an old app for a while – made a little progress on a project, but not enough to move forward.
Even a “disappointed in the outcome” design has some good still in it. A few tweaks and turned upside down, it’ll be a very pretty vase for some paper flowers. 🙂

My Journey Notes:
Sometimes the necessity of rereading the “manual” is worth it. Stuff that isn’t in long term memory fades pretty fast at times… a read refreshes things a bit — and may even “light” the next step for you without another review beyond what you’ve already looked at.

Got yesterday’s outside chores done quickly – before the heat arrived
More headway on the big project – it’s really coming along!
Did a little tweaking on an SVG file I’ve been designing — it’s almost ready for a final test cut!

BONUS: T still has a job for the foreseeable future. The judge continued the TRO while things proceed through the courts.
Lists are still awesome helps!
