CAREGIVER NOTE:

Cycled for another round of PT yesterday. Hoping the Dr confirms the evaluation notes and the order is signed, sealed and delivered early next week. Bumped up to a 4 wheel walker.

Set aside some daily “self-care” time.

CAREGIVER NOTES: Still agitated about things at the homestead. He was pretty quiet yesterday evening. His agitation grew as the evening went on. I don’t think it was necessarily “sundowning” just frustration and confusion about things that were currently happening and not within his control. Fingers crossed for a better day.

A fresh start begins now.

Angels are everywhere. Whether it’s a call, a note or a passing smile, there seems to be the promise of something good in the works every day. The smile upon waking. A thank you after a meal or a hearty laugh when things are looking a little iffy or troublesome. We appreciate everyone for helping in any way they can or have or will in the future.

We’ve been blessed having gone down this road previously with Mom. And as always, each day is a new adventure. No two days are exactly alike. From sunup to sundown, each day has its own life. The ups and downs aren’t always the same or motivated by the same experiences in our new daily routine. We’re grateful to have Dad with us and learn more about this thing called life and say “thank you” for the opportunity to be his angels at this time.
