My Journey Notes:
This week has been a little crazy trying to find an affordable med for the migraines — let’s just say we still haven’t found one that doesn’t wipe out the budget and that isn’t a triptan based med which I have developed a sensitivity to. Calling the dr’s office again this morning asking him to pull the prescription for the last prescribed med (over a $1000 a month for 8 pills with insurance) and go with what I’ve been doing the last 5 months.

The countdown for next month’s surgery is on. Just under two weeks now.

My Journey Notes:
It’s been an okay few weeks. The lists and notes continue to be good things to keep me on top of things. I’m even keeping on top of some exercise 6 days a week. I feel off when I don’t get my walk in. We have a few things to take care of this weekend including taxes.

I’m really hoping that adjusting to the change in time this weekend will be smoother than the change in fall was. I’m grateful that I have my creative space upstairs now and can spend time using those wakeful hours without disturbing the rest of the household.

I know that the mind wanders at times and forgetting some things is normal in the process of aging… But there are a lot of blanks in the last few days. Hoping today will be filled with many more moments I will remember tomorrow.

Lots to unpack this week… but hopefully, we’ll continue without losing ground. Grateful for Friday to come, it’s been a very long week in more ways than I care to think about at times. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Grateful that yesterday’s appointment went much better than planned. No additional biopsies have been ordered and a surgery date is set. I felt really good walking out of the appointment with at least that being settled and ready to move forward.

My Journey Notes:
Grateful for one more day. Grateful to open my eyes this morning and have vision (while not perfect) that enables me to move freely in my environment and further the plans for creativity today and this coming weekend. Looking forward to a trip to the fabric store very soon.

Hoping to get quilt tops put together this spring and ready for quilting with the grandkids this summer.
