My Journey Notes:
Another round of issues with the migraine med. Hmmm. Spent time on the phone with the clinic but not sure that got us anywhere since my dr’s office was closed for the day and no one on call to leave a message with. Same problem as before with the insurance not approving the scrip as written — UGH! Calling the pharmacy this morning to see what the “damages” are and make sure we can get it picked up this evening, as there’s a change in the weather moving in and the barometer is doing it’s thing — the med does take the edge off a bit on the barometer migraines. Tylenol isn’t cutting it! I have one pill left!

picked the blackberries – YUM! Blackberry pie filling being made this morning
finished a condolence card – this one was a hard one.
happy mail arrived a day early!

My Journey Notes:
Last night was the first night in about 5 that I’ve been able to go right back to sleep after waking up. The insomnia this week has been awful — not sure if it was relevant to what was happening in the extended family dynamic or not, but even the sleep aid wasn’t helpful.

Short term memory stuff has been a bigger issue this past week. I’m sure part of the problem is that my brain isn’t “recovering” overnight — since I haven’t been sleeping much.

Chores for the day – done early
Desk in studio cleaned up
While not completely successful, I did get a good 6 inches of paper yarn spun… fun process and I hope to get better at it. Good way to use up some of these paper scraps once the paper ply is separated.

My Journey Notes:
Insomnia cycle is back in play. 3 nights in a row and up again before the crack of dawn because snoozing ain’t happening. I fear I’ll be dragging by 9am with only 3 hours of sleep. The “new” suggested routine isn’t working… or it’s that full moon! 😉 Dog was up as well last night, so that didn’t help me get an uninterrupted sleep… but she needed to take a trip outside. Thankfully, no critters in the yard for her to chase or bark at, so it was a quick out and back in. Making a more detailed list for today – being this tired doesn’t help me remember things.

The 3 R’s: Read, rested, relaxed
Tidied up the downstairs pantry a bit

My Journey notes:
Still in the insomnia cycle… hoping tonight is the last night of being awake for most of it and we can get back into a good night’s sleep pattern again. Barometer is doing it’s thing… up, down, holding and repeat. It would be nice if it held in one place for a couple of days – the migraines have been coming in waves the last couple of weeks.

Tylenol seems to be my best friend at the moment. Fingers crossed for a better day today.
Still making lots of lists and checking things off. Yesterday’s list was completely crossed off. YIPPEE! Today’s list is a short one, but it may not get done as I have to be out for a while. We’ll see how things roll out.
