Izbzee has moved over to Word Press

After receiving notice that Typepad was closing next month, I’m just moving things over here to Greatitudes with hopes that I can continue to share some of my makes and keep tabs on what’s happening in the studio for memory’s sake.

So on that note, here are a couple of finished projects that will close out August (2025) and usher in September.

September’s ministering cards (a stack of 20) was another Pinterest inspiration. I was able to create my own striped pattern paper using Procreate. I created a palette and used the colors in the palette to draw the stripes with a brush that was included in the software. Export the file as a png and use in SCAL by sizing exactly to the size needed for use in the card. The hearts are filled with colors from the palette and these elements are print then cut using the software. Assembly was easy as one, two, three on a pre-printed card base.

The following project was created using a file I found on Etsy. It’s cute, easy and only uses an 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper. I’m always looking for a way to use up some of my older cardstock since I’ve pretty much migrated to 12 x 12 or larger paper for most of my projects.

The Photo Ball ornament is from Hobby Lobby (all Christmas is 50% off right now). A really good deal if you’re concerned about prices at the moment. We noticed in our walk through of our local store that they may have bought enough product to carry them through this season and into next year… even with the markdowns. Every aisle has tubs filled with Christmas stuff on the top shelves. The holographic paper was a purchase from Amazon a while back and you can cut several elements from a scrap of the paper.

Now to change my watermark! LOL
